英语语法之复习与练习——过去将来时
过去将来时表示从过去某一时间来看将来要发生的动作或呈现的状态。
一、过去将来时的用法
1.过去将来时表示从过去某一时间看将要发生的动作或存在的状态，该时态常用于宾语从句或间接引语中。常与soon, later, two days later，the following day，the next week/year等连用。
2.过去将来时表示过去某时根据计划或安排即将要发生的事情。
二、过去将来时的结构：would+动词原形
would+动词原形，表示从过去某一时间看将来要发生的动作或存在的状态，多见于从句或间接引语中，主语谓语多用过去时。
e.g.He said that he would go to Beijing.
三、过去将来时特殊情况：
1.特定场合下，一般过去时可以表示过去将来时，如：条件状语从句和时间状语从句中用一般过去时代替过去将来时。
e.g.I don’t know when she would come. When she came I would let you know.
2.was/were going to+动词原形，表示过去的打算、计划或很可能发生的事。
e.g.She told me that she was going to leave for Guilin.
3.某些动词的过去进行时可以表示过去将来时，如：come, go, leave, arrive, start等，表示按过去的计划、安排，将在某个时间发生的事情。
e.g.They were starting that task next week.
4.过去将来时可以用来表示过去的习惯性动作。
